⚙️ HISTORIC HOMECOMING: Sigma Phi Delta is proud to announce that we have officially rejoined the Professional Fraternity Association (PFA)!

As announced during the 47th General Convention, this major strategic milestone marks a significant step forward under Project Momentum, reaffirming our core commitment to professional engineering excellence, university advocacy, and interfraternal leadership.

Originally standing as one of the 27 founding organizations of PFA's predecessor in 1928, returning to the PFA brings our undergraduate chapters and alumni network enhanced access to national operational resources, best practices, and awards.

🏛️ 47th General Convention: A Resounding Success! 🏛️

Brothers from across the nation gathered in Indianapolis for a historic Special Session of the 47th General Convention, called by Grand President Santarinala.

The weekend was packed with aligning on the shared vision needed to build a stronger fraternity. The energy and leadership brought by every delegate proved that when Sigma Phi Delta comes together, big things happen.

As we turn our focus to the Fall semester, the mandate is clear: Make no little plans.

We are calling on every chapter and alumni group to think big, set a new standard of excellence, and make this upcoming semester truly dynamic.

A massive thank you to all the undergraduate delegates, Supreme Council members, and alumni brothers who made the trip and put in the work.

We are thrilled to announce several new appointments to the Sigma Phi Delta Supreme Council and International Staff. These brothers are stepping up to help execute Project Momentum and ensure our chapters have the top-tier resources they deserve.

🏎️ Start your engines, Brothers! The 47th General Convention is heading to Indianapolis from Thursday, July 30th to Sunday, August 2nd!

This is a historic milestone for Sigma Phi Delta. Grand President Santarinala has officially convened the first-ever Special Session of the General Convention. This also marks our first even-numbered year General Convention since the 7th General Convention in 1948—which was the first meeting held after the lapse following World War II.

Just as that 1948 gathering rebuilt our foundation for the mid-century, we are gathering the best minds of the Fraternity to architect the next 100 years of Sigma Phi Delta.

To ensure these working sessions are as lean and effective as possible, we are calling for exactly one delegate from every Active and Alumni Chapter to blueprint our future.
