Less than 24 hours until this giant fair and we are so excited! Check out how Melanie Caldwell scored an internship with Target through her involvement with this fair!
"This past summer I had the opportunity to work at Target through their internship program. I was very fortunate to get the internship because of the Business, IT & SAP Career Fair. Prior to the Career Fair last spring semester, I look at the list of employers attending that the Career Fair had provided online and found a particular interest in the Target internship. To prepare for the Career Fair, I actually got my resume checked at the Career Center and they were able to give me tips to make sure I felt confident going to talk to Target at the Career Fair. The Career Center workshops helped me improve my networking skills by giving me tips on how to act in a professional setting like the Career Fair even when there are hundreds of people around. I was able to quickly find where Target’s booth was located because of the map provided before walking into the Career Fair and was able to secure an interview because of my confidence and professionalism."

Make sure you are ready for the fair! Come to a Career Fair Prep Seminar in the Career Center Monday from 4pm-5pm or Tuesday from either 11am-12pm or 4pm-5pm. Tables with yellow balloons mean the company is offering a summer internship!

Happy Thursday! In less than one week, 95 companies will be on campus looking to hire YOU for summer internships or career level positions. The career fair will be on Wednesday, February 22nd from 10-2 in the BMU Auditorium, and is open to all majors. Check out how Mckenna Hurley (senior, marketing major) landed an internship with Indeed and her dream job with Workday through this fair:
