💗 Pink looks good on us 💗

This October, Chico State Police is proud to show our support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. From Dispatch to Patrol, we’re adding a little pink to the uniform to recognize those who are fighting, honor those we’ve lost, and celebrate the survivors who continue to inspire us.

This morning, two of our Community Service Officers had the opportunity to represent UPD at “A Day with First Responders” at the Chico Marketplace.

Our CSOs spent the morning connecting with community members, meeting our local public-safety partners, checking out some impressive equipment, and even making a few new friends along the way!

Events like this are a great reminder that public safety is about more than responding to calls — it’s also about building relationships, supporting our community, and creating positive connections with the people we serve.

A big thank you to The Arc of Butte County and everyone who helped make today’s event possible. We were proud to be a part of it!

“We’ve been experiencing issues with our patrol fleet… but yes, this is still technically a traffic stop.” 🐪🚔
