More than 500 alumni, friends, partners and members of the Life Pacific University community gathered in San Antonio during Foursquare Connection 2026 for the annual LPU Alumni & Friends Lunch.

The afternoon was filled with celebration, meaningful connection and gratitude as we honored alumni whose lives and leadership continue to impact the Kingdom across generations.

This year’s Alumni of the Year honorees included:

Dr. Glenn C. Burris Jr. ’76 – Lifetime of Service Award
Dr. Marion Ingegneri ’15 – Kingdom Leadership Alumnus of the Year
Pastor Martín Ruarte ’20 – Entrepreneurial Spirit Alumnus of the Year
Pastor Steve – Beyond Borders Alumnus of the Year
Pastor Anais Macias ’22 – Young Alumnus Award

From standing ovations to shared stories of mentorship, ministry and faithfulness, the luncheon was a powerful reminder of the lasting community formed through Life Pacific University.

Life Pacific University is pleased to announce Rev. Heidi Chambers as Assistant Professor and Director of Online Undergraduate Ministry and Management programs.

With more than 25 years of experience in ministry, global operations, higher education, and leadership development, Rev. Chambers will provide academic leadership for LPU’s online B.A. in Ministry and Leadership and B.A. in Organizational Management programs.

A respected pastor, theologian, author, and educator, Dr. Swoboda brings deep theological scholarship, pastoral leadership, and a heart for Spirit-empowered ministry to the LPU community.

In this role, he will teach in LPU Seminary and help shape core theology courses for undergraduate students.

Life Pacific University is honored to welcome Bishop Dr. Kenneth C. Ulmer as Distinguished Fellow for LPU Seminary.

A respected pastor, theologian, author, educator, and mentor, Dr. Ulmer brings decades of Kingdom leadership, pastoral wisdom, and academic depth to this defining season of growth for LPU Seminary.

In this role, Dr. Ulmer will serve as a pastor to pastors and professional mentor to LPU Seminary students through workshops, lectures, residency sessions, and spiritual formation opportunities.

What does it truly mean to value every person in the body of Christ?

LPU’s Center for Global Pentecostal Studies and Practice recently hosted an important conversation on disability, healing, and the Church, bringing together scholars and voices from around the world to explore how Pentecostal theology can move beyond assumptions and toward deeper compassion, inclusion, and biblical understanding.

From redefining healing as wholeness, to recognizing disabled persons not as problems to solve but as vital gifts to the Church, this conversation challenged us to think bigger, love deeper, and walk more faithfully together.

When LPU students landed in Puerto Rico this spring, they had a plan: serve, connect, and contribute to the work already happening on the island through Dream Center Esperanza , a Foursquare ministry based there.

What they didn't plan for was what the week would do to them.

200 bags of groceries delivered to families in need. A local Foursquare church cleaned and restored. An entire Sunday service led by students. Two water baptisms. And an unexpected opportunity to mentor a visiting high school missions group along the way.

Caleb preached. Emma led worship in a language not her own. And every student came home with a clearer picture of who God made them to be.
