On March 19, 2026, the Brothers of Rho Nu Nu Chapter, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., proudly led the Mentoring Program at Otay Ranch High School (ORHS) from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
Each month, we lead this Mentoring Program with a rotation of various topics and themes designed to provide valuable information, resources and guidance to help high school students prepare for college, university, trade schools, and various types of jobs, careers, and industries.
During this month’s Mentoring Program, we led Part 1 of 2 Sessions for College/University Degrees and Career Choices. We presented information on the following topics:
1. College/University Degrees
2. Choosing a Major
3. Choosing a College/University
4. Careers: matching interests, passions, and options with career choices.
5. What to study in college based on career paths.
We enjoyed completing the presentations on the topics above; leading the Question/Answer Session; providing guidance and mentoring; sharing our experiences, education, and training; and having inspirational discussions. We will continue our presentations and discussions next month for Part 2.
The Brothers of Rho Nu Nu Chapter, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., have supported and led Mentoring Programs at various Chula Vista High Schools, at least several times per year, since our chapter was chartered 4 years ago.
We look forward to continue leading this Mentoring Program at Otay Ranch High School every month during the school year.
Leading this Mentoring Program on a monthly basis is a direct demonstration of our 4 Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Cardinal Principles: Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance, Uplift.
