We are proud to announce another real-world innovation driven by our Marketing students!

Xavier University is partnering with Day's Pharmacy of Cincinnati to offer a new prescription delivery service for all Xavier students. Free delivery with no app required and no complex registration process. Deliveries are made by hand to Xavier University dorms and near-campus housing. No insurance required.

This new service started as an idea proposed by Xavier students in a Principles of Marketing (MKTG 300) class project in Spring 2025. We are excited to debut this service after 15 months of working through the details! Thanks to Marketing professor Chris Luzar for spearheading this class project and seeing it through to fruition!

Lauren Dale ('25), currently an MBA student in the Williams College of Business, is from a small town near the Ohio/Michigan border. She found a home at Xavier: "Moving 3 hours away from my family was scary, but I quickly found my people on campus and created lasting friendships. In the classroom, I gained a very well-rounded, holistic education. From theology to marketing to finance, I received a great education that touched on all aspects of the business world."

During Spring semester, we tried something new! We invited students from Mount Notre Dame High School to join our client project competition with The Gorilla Glue Company! 162 Xavier students and 49 students from MND were challenged to develop ideas for enhancing Gorilla Glue's strategies for social & influencer marketing, increasing growth among trade professionals, expanding product categories, and using AI to enhance customers' DIY projects.

MND students visited campus for a workshop with Marketing faculty to fine-tune their ideas, and we were impressed by how prepared and professional their recommendations were! Finalist groups from Xavier and MND got to present their recommendations at Gorilla Glue's headquarters. Congrats to XU winners Sam Fauver, Lukas Grossman, and Patrick Ryan!

Thanks to Gorilla Glue reps and Xavier alums Kevin Quigley Jr. ('17) and Lauren Gierla Prunty ('19) for working with our students! Thanks also to Krista Brehm from MND for being a great partner. Big props to Marketing professor Chris Luzar for organizing this massive undertaking.

Katarina Maras ('24), who majored in Marketing with a minor in Entrepreneurship, told us that two organizations on campus had a big impact on her life: "The AMA (American Marketing Association at Xavier) allowed me to deepen my passion for marketing through competitions, networking events, and real-world projects, while Xavier Women in Business Club fostered a supportive community focused on leadership, mentorship, and professional growth."
