As September has come to an end, we got the opportunity to recognize two outstanding Aircats!

C/Hillman’s work as part of the communications team has made a massive impact on the unit, from organizing 80 cadet headshots to build our Fall 2026 org chart to spearheading 2 major creative social media campaigns that surged our online reach and follower growth. Outstanding effort and well-deserved recognition!

C/Eckstein’s exceptional leadership as A7/8 Deputy made a massive impact on unit operations and visibility, from coordinating over 35 hours of prep and nine CONOPs to seamlessly onboard 54 new cadets during New Student Orientation to coding an automated battle rhythm tracker and directing nearly 40 strategic social media campaigns. Outstanding effort and well-deserved recognition!

Aircats powered through Week 6,  wrapped up an eventful week featuring Virtual Career Day at LLAB and Battle of Ohio (BoO) on Saturday!

Tuesday PT pushed our cadets with the Sally-Up challenge straight into a relay workout!

On Saturday, Aircats travelled to The Ohio State University for BoO, where seven AFROTC detachments went head-to-head in a variety of sporting events to see who would come out on top!

Everyone who went to BoO had a great time competing against the other detachments and cheering on our fellow Aircats!

Proud of our Aircats who gave it their all for the BoO!

Aircats completed Week 5, entering the Prepare Phase of the AFFORGEN Cycle. Aircats had a fun, wing building week playing dodgeball and doing relay workouts at PT. As well as learning expeditionary skills at LLAB.

Tuesday PT was all about having fun and building each other up with intense games of dodgeball!

For LLAB, cadets learned all about expeditionary skills. Learning how to perform land navigation, clear the area for an IED, and how to apply tourniquets.

Here, cadets were actively participating in the GLP. Learning how to secure an area with an Entry Control Point (ECP).

Shout out to the cadets who put in their all for dodge ball!

Aircats completed Week 4! Dominating the Warrior Knowledge Exam, the PFRA, and absolutely ready to start the cycle again! Thank you, Col Fleming and CMSgt Hixon, for visiting and taking the time to share some wisdom with our cadets at Det 665!

Thursday PT was all about the PFRA! Outstanding effort across the board, everyone gave it their all and pushed through as one cohesive team.

Delegation, communication, and competition. Thursday’s LLAB had GMC cadets putting their leadership to the test in a Group Leadership Project.

Another step closer to the ultimate goal! Congratulations to C/Anderson on becoming our third AS100 cadet to contract with the Air Force this semester! Thank you, AFROTC Commander Col Fleming, for being part of their journey.

Capping off Week 4 with a milestone achievement, 2nd Lt Tyler Brunelle has officially commissioned as an Air Battle Manager!
