👏 Congratulations to the teams behind the new Housing Innovation Lab!

The Housing Innovation Lab brings together the University of Cincinnati Real Estate Center, Greater Cincinnati Foundation and LISC Greater Cincinnati to test, scale and accelerate innovative housing solutions for Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.

“The goal is not simply to study housing challenges. It’s to generate evidence, test solutions in practice and provide communities with the information they need to make smarter decisions and invest in approaches that have demonstrated results,” said Gary Painter, who is representing Lindner and UC in this new initiative.

Will Ohio drivers really see lower prices at the pump? ⛽

With Ohio Governor Mike DeWine's 90-day gas tax suspension now in effect, many are expecting immediate savings. But according to Gary Painter, professor and academic director of the UC Real Estate Center, the reality may be more nuanced. He notes that while gas prices could fall, consumers likely won't see the full benefit, as some of the savings may be captured elsewhere in the supply chain.

The fall Sales Expo brought together 49 national employers and more than 300 students from across UC’s campus.

Hosted by the University of Cincinnati's Grau Center for Professional Selling, the Sales Expo is the second-largest career fair at UC and reflects the growing importance of sales careers for both students and employers.

This event continues to be a valuable opportunity for students to strengthen their networking skills, build confidence, and advance their career readiness through meaningful conversations with employers.

Employers’ comments such as “your students are polished and ask great questions” or “I’m impressed with how prepared UC students are for a career fair” and “we’ll always return to the Sales Expo” could be heard throughout the day.
