Thanks for highlighting the upcoming Fall term at OLLI! (Give the East Walnut Hills page a follow...) 🤩
OLLI at University of Cincinnati offers hundreds of noncredit daytime courses for personal enrichment taught with adult learners (50+) in mind. There are no tests or grades, just the joy of learning new things!
Classes cover traditional college subjects along with the eclectic, with a diversity of topics in between: history, literature, art, technology, current events, wellness, languages, hobbies, music, philosophy, religion, photography, science, travel, writing, and more.
For instance, in 1002: Spice of Life: A Global Spice Odyssey, educator Sharon Schwartz will take students on a culinary journey through the spices, ingredients, dishes, and cooking techniques that define India, Mexico, Greece, China’s regional cuisines, Morocco, Türkiye, Japan, and the Caribbean flavors of Cuba and Puerto Rico. You’ll learn how these influential food cultures developed and continue to inspire cooks around the globe!
Offerings range from one-time programs to multi-week courses. Many of the courses are offered on the Victory Parkway campus. Both in person and online (Zoom) classes are available. Enjoy educational field trips and social outings.
OLLI is part of the UC College of Cooperative Education and Professional Studies at the University of Cincinnati. Please head to www.ccps.uc.edu/academics/olli.html to learn more and register for classes!
