University of Cincinnati Society of Professional Journalists We are lovers of the written word and anything newsy. UC SPJ has monthly general membership meetings in McMicken Hall room 130.

Since our inception, UC SPJ has been focused on a very intentional strategy of connecting our members with the world of journalism. We accomplish this goal by hosting quarterly events that bring in writers, photographers, editors and media professionals who are currently at the height of their careers. When we're not mingling with journalists we share our internship experiences, attend regional co

nferences and host workshops that prepare students for their futures in the field. There is no cost to join and individuals from all majors are welcome to attend.
