We join the Diocese of Toledo in mourning the passing of Rev. Laudick, a 1964 graduate of our seminary. We give thanks to the Lord for calling Father Jack and for his 'yes' and nearly 62 years of service to the people of the Diocese of Toledo.

Father John R. “Jack” Laudick, 91, died Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at the Glass Peaks Senior Living facility in Toledo where he had resided for several years. He was born September 10, 1934, to the late John R. and Marcella M. “Sally” (Wanamaker) Laudick.

We start the month of June thrilled with the great joy the Diocese of Charlotte experienced on Saturday with their record-breaking class of 10 men ordained to the priesthood, eight of whom completed their formation at MTSM. Please keep them in your prayers as they begin their priestly ministry!

Tomorrow will be a great day for MTSM, the Dioceses of Charlotte and Kansas City-St. Joseph and the Universal Church with more ordinations to the priesthood.

Our eight men for the Diocese of Charlotte will be ordained to the priesthood at 9 AM at St. Mark's in Huntersville, part of a Diocese-record ordination class of 10 men.

At the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Kansas City, Missouri at 11 AM Eastern, Deacon Daniel Stump, who completed his Master's of Divinity at MTSM last year and did a pastoral year this year in his home diocese, will be ordained to the priesthood for the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph.
