On Wednesday evening, MTSM welcomed members of its St. Gregory's Legacy Society (SGLS) for Mass and Dinner with the Seminary Community. During dinner, members who had joined in the past calendar year were recognized and presented with a certificate.

SGLS members are those who have committed to leaving the Seminary in their estate plans, demonstrating a belief and commitment to furthering the education and formation for future leaders of the Church that they will never meet.

Thank you to the SGLS members who could join us on Wednesday and all SGLS members who have committed to the future of the work done at MTSM.

Today we join the Universal Church in celebrating the Memorial of St. Gregory the Great, Pope and Doctor of the Church. St. Gregory the Great is the patron saint of students and teachers, and is the namesake for the main chapel at MTSM.

Prior to the start of the academic year, our priest faculty and seminarians did their annual Campus Eucharistic Procession, asking for the Lord's blessing over the place where His call is discerned and His shepherds are formed.

On Wednesday mornings, the seminarians have some form liturgy preparation ahead of the evening's Mass. Today, all the seminarians reported to the music room to work with MTSM Music Director Dr. Christopher Holman on some of the pieces that will be used at Mass this evening.
