Keck Graduate Institute has received a $4.3 million five-year grant from the California Institute of Regenerative Medicine (CIRM) to create a CIRM Bridges training program for 10 KGI students a year who are preparing for regenerative medicine careers, beginning with incoming fall 2027 students.

The program includes a nine-credit Certificate in Regenerative Medicine and six- or 12-month internships for incoming KGI master’s degree students who are interested in biomanufacturing, translational science, clinical operations, biotech management, and other related fields.

Start Here, the 7C student services block party hosted by The Claremont Colleges Services, was a success!

KGI students from our Bee Free Truth Initiative shared information about the dangers of ni****ne, our School of Pharmacy students demonstrated how to use naloxone, and our Recruitment and Outreach team showcased KGI’s programs. It was a great opportunity to connect with students and colleagues from across the 7Cs!

After learning what a Team Master’s Project is, getting to know one team and the problem they were trying to solve, we now get to see where it all led.

Watch as this TMP experience becomes about more than just one presentation. Along the way, these students gained new skills, worked across disciplines, and discovered what they’re capable of when they take on a challenge that doesn’t come with an easy answer.
