Pomona College Career Development Office Welcome to the Pomona College Career Development Office! We strive to inspire, educate, and equip Sagehens for a purposeful and rewarding life.

The mission of the Pomona College Career Development Office (CDO) is to empower students and alumni to utilize their liberal arts education to gain self-understanding, identify their interests, and formulate a career plan. The CDO is here to provide quality resources, services, and advising to help Pomona College students and alumni apply their liberal arts education and life experiences to a lifetime of fulfilling opportunities and throughout their career development. We are excited to work with students as they begin and continue exploring career paths.

Meet Andrew! 🌟

Andrew, a senior originally from southwest Missouri, is majoring in International Relations and has conducted research abroad in a dozen countries. He looks forward to assisting Pomona students with career exploration, drawing on his experience in the consulting, entertainment, and nonprofit industries.

Meet Tobi, another one of our veteran peer advisors 😁 Tobi is a senior from South Korea studying Philosophy & Data Science. He intends to pursue a career in the legal industry, particularly by shaping ethical pathways for technological. Meet Lilian, a veteran peer advisor ❤️ Lilian is an economics student at Pomona College in her senior year. She is originally from Vancouver Canada but loves escaping the rain to Shanghai during the fall and winter. Lilian plans to explore a career in the financial industries in the international sector. In her free time, she enjoys learning about new creative technologies and products and exploring new restaurants, cafes, and good eats across the world. On campus, Lilian is also the Managing Director of Pomona Consulting Group.

Last month, we had the pleasure of welcoming back Ramez Toubassy '94, whose background spans business, innovation, and intellectual property, for a lively conversation on AI, career education, and the future of work.

It was especially meaningful to learn from an all-star Sagehen alum as we continue thinking strategically about how best to support our Sagehens as they prepare to soar beyond Pomona's gates.
