Spring Into Sisterhood is almost here.

The Iota Delta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated invites you to join us for a Membership Reactivation Event on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at New Covenant Baptist Church in Clarksdale.

If you are ready to reconnect, renew your commitment, and return to the sisterhood, we would love to welcome you.

Sister Spotlight Series: Black History Month Edition

This Black History Month, we proudly honor Olenza S. McBride, a trailblazing leader whose impact helped shape education in Clarksdale. Serving as principal of all three public high schools in our city, (Coahoma Agricultural High School, Clarksdale High School, Coahoma County High School)her career reflects extraordinary leadership and unwavering commitment to students and community.

Her legacy lives on through the lives she influenced, the example she set, and the doors she helped open. We honor her, celebrate her, and thank her for being a living example of excellence in Pink and Green.

Pink Goes Red for Heart Health

We joined Northwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center for their Go Red program to help raise awareness about women’s heart health.

Heart disease remains the leading cause of death for women, responsible for about 1 in 5 female deaths in the United States. It is a reminder for all of us to take our health seriously and support one another.

A heartfelt thank you to our Uplift Our Local Community Committee for organizing our chapter’s participation. Your planning made this event meaningful for everyone involved.
