Bringing math to life off the whiteboard and onto the printmaking press! 🎨📐

Dr. Jackie Vogel’s HON 1045 - Pop Culture Math class visited the Art + Design studio for a hands-on lesson on M.C. Escher. A huge thank you to Associate Professor Patrick Vincent for demonstrating woodcut techniques and helping our students explore geometry and pattern by making their own styrofoam prints!

We love seeing our students connect mathematical concepts with hands-on creativity across campus! 🖼️✨

Austin Peay State University’s College of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) is hosting a free Scientist for a Day event on Tuesday, November 3, from 12:00–5:00 p.m.

High school students will have the opportunity to:

⚫ Participate in hands-on science experiments
⚫ Learn about STEM programs and careers
⚫ Enjoy lunch and an afternoon social
