Delta State University offers an extensive orientation program each summer for new students enrolling for the fall semester. Sessions for entering freshmen and transfer students, who have been admitted to the university and parents of first-time students, are typically held in June and July. Freshman students and guests attend a two-day program, while transfer students and guest attend for one day

only. Sessions are designed to familiarize you with DSU policies and procedures while introducing you to faculty, staff, students and campus life.
