Our returning Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing alumni got an insider’s look at the Health Education Campus during student-guided tours this Homecoming and Reunion Weekend!

From state-of-the-art simulation spaces to collaborative learning hubs, our alumni saw firsthand how today's CWRU nursing students are preparing to shape the future of care—and our students loved hearing insights and memories from those who paved the way.

20 years of impact, hands-on learning and compassionate global care!

Thank you to everyone who joined us during Homecoming and Reunion Weekend to celebrate 20 years of FPB mission trips to San Raymundo, Guatemala with Refuge International!

Since 2006, our nursing students and faculty have provided life-changing primary and surgical care to thousands of patients while building sustainable healthcare resources for the community.

Our alumni, students, faculty leaders—Margaret Bobonich, Carol Savrin and Marie Grosh—have made this program a shining example of FPB leadership in action.

What does community-centered care actually look like?

For CWRU’s first-year Master of Nursing students, it meant stepping outside the classroom and into the community. During a two-week immersion at Rid-All Green Partnership and Squire Valleevue Farm, students explored health inequities, community strengths and the role nurses can play beyond the clinic.

Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing has partnered with Mahidol University’s Ramathibodi School of Nursing in Thailand to offer doctoral nursing students the opportunity to complete coursework and research in Cleveland 🌏💙 Students can spend three semesters at Case Western Reserve University, gaining experience in research, healthcare and cross-cultural collaboration.
