The CWRU chapter is looking for interested candidates for next years executive board for the Federalist Society. We are looking to fill all four positions of President, Vice-President, Treasurer, and Secretary. Co-President is a viable option if those interested are afraid of the time commitment.

Our chapter is rather successful when compared to the size of chapters around the US in schools with more students in one class rank than we have at nearly our whole school. Being on the e-board gives you a nice resume booster, as well as the opportunity to network with lawyers in the field, and distinguished academics who come and visit campus.

The president or co-presidents will get to attend a training conference in Washington DC. The highlight of this event is a soiree at the Supreme Court where you get to network and talk with academics, judges from the Federal and State Level, members of Congress and Supreme Court Justices themselves.

Having attended last year as the outgoing president I will say it was quite an enriching experience to be there and meet so many of whom you read about in the political blogs and papers.

Interested candidates should send an email to [email protected], listing what position you're interested in as well as why you would like that position.

I look forward to hearing from many of you.
