Whether you’re a returning Statesman or experiencing your very first semester at Delta State, this is your chance to relax, meet new people, and catch a quick vibe with the brothers of Suave House. Shoutout to Brother Jy’quon Wallace for successfully executing Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.’s national program, Go-To-High School, Go-To-College, at the Boys & Girls Club of Baldwyn, Mississippi.

Brother Wallace poured back into the youth of his community by leading a discussion on the value of education, the benefits of earning a college degree, and the opportunities that come from investing in one’s future. Students learned about the importance of academic success, developing leadership and professional skills, gaining independence, and creating pathways toward lifelong achievement.

Programs like these embody Alpha Phi Alpha’s commitment to uplifting our communities and preparing the next generation for success. We commend Brother Wallace for taking the initiative to inspire, educate, and empower the young men of Baldwyn.
