CSU student Kayla Selan traveled to the Big Apple for an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show!

A student in the Cleveland State School of Music, Kayla joined the show to discuss women in music and the growing number of women pursuing leadership roles in classical music. As a conductor for the CSU Orchestra and Band, she's helping lead that change.

Join us in celebrating CSU graduate Kirsten Kimbler as a Student of Distinction. 🎓

During her time at CSU, Kirsten completed three internships by taking advantage of the University's access to downtown and hands-on learning opportunities. She credits the support of faculty mentors and her involvement across campus for helping shape her success.

This summer, Kirsten will continue building on that experience through a fourth internship with Cleveland Metroparks.
