Ohio is expanding its fracking industry despite concerns of its environmental impact
1.4 billion gallons of fracking wastewater, or toxic brine, is being pumped into injection wells for long term storage in Ohio every year. This salty wastewater byproduct of fracking is full of heavy metals, radioactive materials, cancer-causing benzene and hazardous chemical additives from the fracking process.

CSU Design Week 2026 Video Recap

We’re excited to share the video recap from Cleveland State University’s Haddad Enrichment Youth Program: Design Week 2026!

This year marked the program’s third summer. Students visited the Community Arts Center, participated in a special architecture workshop, and engaged in creative workshops, team projects, field trips, and career-exploration sessions led by local design professionals.

Each day encouraged participants to experiment, collaborate, and think critically about how design impacts their world.
