The folded flag. It might not mean much to you, but to anyone that's held this, it means everything. It is the last gift given to a fallen servicemember's family from a grateful nation. It is the final thing those family members get to hold in their arms, since they can no longer hold their loved one. It doesn't weigh much, but it houses the unrealized dreams, unmet goals, and unfulfilled desires of a life cut short. So today, as you grill and play with family and friends, take a moment (or a few) to ponder on all those folded flags across this great nation. "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends." John 15:13

Today, the Truett McConnell University Public Safety Academy graduated its first class of P.O.S.T. Certified Advanced Instructors. These ladies and gentlemen worked incredibly hard for 3 weeks (2 weeks on our campus, 1 week in between at home working on their lesson plan) to achieve this certification. We had 100% pass rate for all 3 portions (written exam, lesson plan, presentation), and we could not be happier for or prouder of each and every one of them!

A special thanks to all our guest instructors and evaluators that made this possible, as well as the personnel and agencies that trusted us with their training.
