Great conversation with Hinds County Circuit Clerk Mr. Zack Wallace, as moderated by Bro. Dr. Sherman Green., MS District Brother of the Year 2026, where we discussed how to prepare for the upcoming Tuesday, November 3rd election and beyond. This great event was a part of the chapter's Voteless People is a Hopeless People Initiative. The chapter will post snippets of this presentation weeks and days leading up the election.

Special Shoutout to Chapter Brother Preston Duvall Johnson for speaking to the youth recently at the 4th Annual Teen Su***de Summit. This is what "Teens Stiving for Success" had to say about Brother Johnson.....

"Speaker Spotlight: Preston Johnson, LPC

Teens Striving for Success proudly thanks Preston Johnson, LPC, for presenting an engaging teen breakout session at the 4th Annual Teen Su***de Summit.

His presentation on “Emotional Awareness of Today’s Teens” gave young people practical ways to recognize, understand, and communicate their emotions. Through meaningful discussion and interactive engagement, teens learned that emotions are not something to fear or ignore—they are signals that can be understood and managed in healthy ways.

Thank you, Preston, for creating a space where teens felt supported and for providing coping strategies they can use beyond the summit.

Helping teens understand their emotions helps them make healthier choices.
