With our new teaching kitchen officially up and running at the The University of South Carolina Union Laurens Location, we’re excited to launch our very first Continuing Education culinary experience: Smoke & Sizzle 101 — a hands-on, four-part course designed for anyone who loves cooking, grilling, BBQ, or just wants to learn something new.
Starting in late July, Chef Rob Patterson will lead participants through live fire cooking fundamentals, low & slow barbecue science, production cooking, flavor development, sauces, and more. Whether you’re a backyard griller or someone looking to sharpen your skills, there’s something in this series for you.
