Meet Rae Rodriguez, MaCMH, APCC, and Life Coach.

Rae supports individuals and families navigating transitions, especially third-culture kids, missionary kids, and others whose stories stretch across cultures and places. Having spent much of her own childhood abroad, Rae brings both professional preparation and lived understanding to the experience of trying to define “home.”

Her clinical areas of focus include trauma, panic disorders, OCD, ADHD, crisis intervention, and the complexities of a nomadic lifestyle. Rae earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and currently offers virtual sessions.

Meet Dr. Rikki Permenter—the owner and Clinical Director of Bent Tree Counseling.

Dr. Rikki is a Louisiana Licensed Professional Counselor–Supervisor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and National Certified Counselor. She has been practicing since 2009 and brings years of experience serving people from many different backgrounds and seasons of life.

Her approach is professional and deeply human—which makes sense for someone who also loves the beach, yoga, we**ie dogs, The Office, and Community Coffee Between Roast. ☕

Bent Tree Counseling was founded from her desire to make professional, confidential counseling accessible in Clinton and through telehealth.

Introducing .... Lane! He is seeing people IN PERSON at our office and has good availability. His scheduler is open and ready for new clients. As a fireman, he saw the need for counselors who specialize in first responders and trauma, so he went back to school to get all the training he needed to do it himself. Lane is a helper through and through - let him help you put out the dumpster fires in your life!
