Atlantic Technical College first opened its doors in August 1973 and over the years, has had four major construction phases and added two campuses - Atlantic Technical College – Arthur Ashe, Jr. Campus in Ft. Lauderdale and the ATC ESOL Center on the Coconut Creek High School campus. ATC offers over 30 Certificate and Applied Technology Diploma programs, workforce education courses, and house a Ma

gnet High School. Programs are concentrated in 7 high-demand occupational clusters:

• Business Management & Administration
• Health Science
• Hospitality & Tourism
• Information Technology
• Manufacturing
• Transportation, Distribution & Logistics

For those who want to “earn-as-they-learn,” ATC provides the largest apprenticeship training program in the state. Atlantic’s Technical High School has been designated a National Model School by the International Center for Leadership in Education. Atlantic Technical High School’s unique design allows students to become immersed in a rigorous and challenging learning environment, while capturing their interest in a variety of career focused electives. Students will earn a diploma with credentials surpassing the state requirements in academics, enabling them to be competitive in the college admission process.

🎉 BIG NEWS for Atlantic Technical College! 🎉

We are proud to share that Atlantic Technical College has been awarded $1,032,825 in Florida PIPELINE funding, the highest funding allocation received by any technical college in the state! This remarkable achievement reflects the outstanding success of our Practical Nursing program, including 81 program completers and an impressive 98.63% NCLEX pass rate.

While this recognition highlights our Nursing program, it is truly a testament to the dedication of our entire ATC family. Every instructor, counselor, administrator, support staff member, and student plays a role in creating an environment where success thrives.

🎉 A BIG day for workforce development at Atlantic Technical College!

Today's Manufacturing Workforce Expo, sponsored by OpenAI and hosted through the U.S. Small Business Administration, brought together national, state, and local leaders committed to strengthening America's workforce.

We were honored to welcome SBA Administrator Kelly Loeffler, Acting Secretary of Labor Keith Sonderling, Florida Commissioner of Education Dr. Henry Mack, OpenAI Vice President of Global Affairs Chris Lehane, Broward County Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Howard Hepburn, School Board Members Lori Alhadeff, Sarah Leonardi, and Dr. Allen Zeman, along with McFatter Technical College Director Celeste Johnson and Sheridan Technical College Director Cara Daniel.

One of the most exciting topics discussed was new funding enhancements that will expand apprenticeship opportunities, strengthen workforce training, and help prepare more students for high-demand careers in manufacturing and skilled trades.

The Web Development program prepares students for employment as a Web Designer, a Web Designer/Graphic Designer, an Assistant Web Designer, or to provide supplemental training for people previously or currently employed in any of these occupations.

The Web Development program offers a broad foundation of knowledge and skills to prepare students to design, code, and publish websites that can work with mobile technology, tablets and desktop formats.

After successfully completing this program, students will be able to design dynamic and responsive websites and apply their knowledge of website design and coding principles, including the integration of AI tools, website management, media integration, and digital marketing techniques.
