Atlantic Technical College first opened its doors in August 1973 and over the years, has had four major construction phases and added two campuses - Atlantic Technical College – Arthur Ashe, Jr. Campus in Ft. Lauderdale and the ATC ESOL Center on the Coconut Creek High School campus. ATC offers over 30 Certificate and Applied Technology Diploma programs, workforce education courses, and house a Ma

gnet High School. Programs are concentrated in 7 high-demand occupational clusters:

• Business Management & Administration
• Health Science
• Hospitality & Tourism
• Information Technology
• Manufacturing
• Transportation, Distribution & Logistics

For those who want to “earn-as-they-learn,” ATC provides the largest apprenticeship training program in the state. Atlantic’s Technical High School has been designated a National Model School by the International Center for Leadership in Education. Atlantic Technical High School’s unique design allows students to become immersed in a rigorous and challenging learning environment, while capturing their interest in a variety of career focused electives. Students will earn a diploma with credentials surpassing the state requirements in academics, enabling them to be competitive in the college admission process.

Dear Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) families and staff,

As we approach the final days of the school year, the safety of our students and staff remains our top priority. To support a safe and orderly campus environment, additional safety measures will be implemented at all schools.

From Friday, May 29 through Wednesday, June 3, 2026, high school backpacks and bags will not be permitted on school campuses.

Please take note of the following important reminders:

High School Students may bring lunches in a standard lunch box.
All devices, books, and school materials should be returned before Friday, May 29, 2026.
The final day to return school-issued laptops is Thursday, May 28, 2026.
A small pouch may be permitted for personal hygiene items.

We appreciate your partnership in reinforcing these expectations with your student. If your student has a special circumstance, please contact our school’s administration for assistance.

It is Testimonial Tuesday and we are proud to spotlight Phyon Davis, an Automotive Collision student at Atlantic Technical College & Technical High School.

Through his experience in the Automotive Collision program, Phyon is developing strong people skills, building relationships, and learning how to communicate effectively in both the classroom and future workplace.
