Atlantic Technical College first opened its doors in August 1973 and over the years, has had four major construction phases and added two campuses - Atlantic Technical College – Arthur Ashe, Jr. Campus in Ft. Lauderdale and the ATC ESOL Center on the Coconut Creek High School campus. ATC offers over 30 Certificate and Applied Technology Diploma programs, workforce education courses, and house a Ma

gnet High School. Programs are concentrated in 7 high-demand occupational clusters:

• Health Science
• Hospitality & Tourism
• Information Technology
• Manufacturing
• Transportation, Distribution & Logistics

For those who want to “earn-as-they-learn,” ATC provides the largest apprenticeship training program in the state. Atlantic’s Technical High School has been designated a National Model School by the International Center for Leadership in Education. Atlantic Technical High School’s unique design allows students to become immersed in a rigorous and challenging learning environment, while capturing their interest in a variety of career focused electives. Students will earn a diploma with credentials surpassing the state requirements in academics, enabling them to be competitive in the college admission process.

Main Campus Closure Update

As work continues on the planned FPL electrical shutdown on our main campus located at 4700 Coconut Creek Parkway in Coconut Creek the campus will be CLOSED on Thursday, June 25, as crews complete the final phases of safely restoring campus power.

Learning and student support services will continue virtually. Students should continue participating in coursework and activities as directed by their instructors. Faculty and staff will communicate any program-specific schedules or expectations directly with students.

We appreciate the patience and flexibility of our students, families, employees, and community partners as we complete this important project safely.

Good afternoon Faculty and Staff,

As a result of the significant progress made during the Florida Power & Light (FPL) infrastructure project and ongoing work to safely restore campus operations, the Atlantic Technical College and Technical High School Main Campus will be CLOSED on Thursday, June 25, and may remain closed on Friday, June 26, pending final project updates.

Classes and student services will continue virtually during the closure. Students should continue to participate in coursework and activities as directed by their instructors. Faculty and staff will communicate any program-specific expectations, schedules or adjustments directly with students.

Students and employees should continue to monitor communications from their instructors, supervisors, and the College for any program-specific information or operational updates.

If you're looking for:
Office Of Student Affairs, they will be in Portable B.
Financial Aid will be in Portable B
Testing will be in Portable A
Career Center will be in Building 1

Your Drafting class will be in Building 6.

ESE/TIE students will be in Portable 10.

If you're in the day or evening programs for: Electricity, HVAC, Business, or IT - your classes will be online during our shutdown.

If you're in the evening program for ESOL or GED - your classes will be online.

If you're in the daytime program for ESOL or GED, that location remains the same.
