Last night, graduating engineering students at UMD participated in the Order of the Engineer Ceremony, where they recited the Obligation of the Engineer oath. This oath represents a shared commitment to ethical practice, professional integrity, and a lifelong dedication to the field of engineering.

Congratulations to our newly inducted Mechanical Engineering members of the Order of the Engineer, and to all engineering students who took the oath yesterday
