Big thank you to GW Parliamentary Debate Society for hosting this weekend!!!
Our teams were: Adam Harrington and his high school debate partner Peter , Caitlin Bourke and Dhruva Someshwar, Judah Levy and Nadia Lee.
Adam and Peter bubbled! Judah and Nadia as our ProAm team had a ton of fun!
Dhruva and Caitlin broke to semis!!!!! Caitlin was 9th Speaker and Dhruva was 10th Speaker!

MPDS had a great in-house tournament last night! Thank you to all who came out! We are looking forward to doing more in the future.

MPDS was at Franklin & Marshall this weekend- an opp choice tournament! Congrats to Ethanol Liu (Ethan) for being 7th Varsity Speaker and to Judah Levy for being 3rd Novice Speaker! We had Ariane Sharifi/Judah, Ethan/Jeffrey Yin, Anna Newell/Eunisa Lu and Adam Harrington/Dhruva Someshwar debating!! Look at these cuties + Abe!

UMD had a great time at Swat this weekend!!! Our novices closed finals with Zara Memon and their hybrid Grace Luckett winning and Rachel Union coming in second! Rachel Pepper was 5th Novice Speaker and Rachel Robin was 8th Novice Speaker. Rachel Union ran all of their own cases!!!!!

Also... Caitlin Bourke won MOTY!!!!!!! We have no choice but to stan!
UMD was also honored to be tied for 2nd for the team you’d most want to be on other than your own! And on the board for most likely to survive being transported through time.

We also had Caitlin & Anna Newell and Ethanol Liu &Harsh*t from Hopkins debating. Thank you Jeffrey Yin for judging for us!
