This past weekend, we hosted our 3rd annual Alpha Cup with Alpha Omicron Pi! With everyone’s support, we were able to raise over $3,100 for the Arthritis Foundation.
Big shoutout to all of our co-sponsors Alpha Phi, Zeta Tau Alpha, Delta Sigma Phi, Alpha Epsilon Pi, Pi Kappa Alpha, Krazi Kebob, Krazi Burrito, Nando’s, Jimmy John’s, and Cluckster’s, as well as Jake Schlenoff for helping organize the event, and finally everyone that made the event such a success!

SD2SU is proud to be a Greek initiated, but campus-wide event, in which members from different organizations and Greek chapters take a seat in the middle of UMD campus for 12 hours in a pledge to “stand up against sexual assault”. We hold no false illusions, sexual assault exists at the University of Maryland and it exists across college campuses nationwide. We will not remain idle and watch from the sidelines as this preventable tragedy strikes time and time again. We have the power to instead be the Greek and university community that refused to let sexual assault continue on their campus. Our event aims to educate, elucidate, and promote awareness. Help us to become part of the solution.
