Congrats to EIP undgergrads Hassan Syyid and David Molot, co-founders of Hotglue, on their Y Combinator Demo Day. Hotglue provides a developer tool designed to help create native SaaS integrations with data sources in minutes, aiming to help users sidestep jumping through development and maintenance hoops

Today Y Combinator kicked off the Demo Day cycle for its Summer 2021 cohort. Congratulations to EIP junior Ian Rosario, who was one of six UMD students chosen for this spring's Do Good Institute - Do Good Fellows Accelerator Program. Ian's Tiny Theatre LLC (which started as an EIP project) creates fun reader’s theater activities that build foundational reading skills and foster a love for reading for elementary-aged students. Tiny Theatre’s short, printable reader’s theater scripts include silly characters, funny plotlines, and vocabulary words that engage kids (and parents, too!). The organization is on a mission to teach elementary school-aged kids who are struggling to read, not only how to read, but how to make reading fun. The activities are designed to be conducted in the home setting, but they are adaptable for classrooms and larger usage, as well.
