The Gamma Mu chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta will stand by our values in support of the Black Lives Matter movement. We recognize and condemn the systematic racism that plagues our nation's Black Community. As members of an organization that stands up for the rights of women, we expect our members to actively take a stand against the face of oppression. We refuse to be silent.

To the Black Community and our sisters everywhere who have been directly impacted by this hateful environment: we see you, we hear you, and we will do everything in our power to elicit change.

Gamma Mu strongly encourages our members and others to acknowledge and reflect on their own privilege to help move this chapter, Greek life, our communities, and this country as a whole to a more inclusive and just environment. Please continue to share educational resources in this fight against police brutality and racism with sisters, friends, and family. We are here to stand in solidarity and do what we can to speak up in light of these injustices.

TL always.
