The SAA has come together with the Graduate Student Government’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee to collect donations in light of the invasion of Ukraine, which has left many without basic necessities.

Donations will be delivered to St.Andrews Ukrainian Humanitarian Crisis Center in Silver Spring.

UMD SAA welcomes you to our next upcoming event: Diversity in Audiology! On Wednesday, April 21st at 6:30pm we will be hosting a panel of 4 audiologists who are from culturally diverse backgrounds to speak regarding their experiences in the field of audiology. This is a great opportunity to learn more about audiology from practicing clinicians in the DMV area.

General topics will include engagement with patients of diverse backgrounds, accommodating for cultural and linguistic diversity in your practice, career and job opportunities, mentorship, addressing diversity with peers and superiors, diversity in audiology as a field and it's future.
