The Stamp Gallery is pleased to host The ARTiculate Narratives Project in an exhibition featuring 17 artists based throughout Kenya. The ARTiculate Narratives Project is a non-profit initiative committed to empowering marginalized Kenyan artists and Indian children with neurodisabilities through the transformative potential of art. At its core, the project seeks to amplify underrepresented voices, bridge cultural gaps, and provide creative avenues for individuals who have historically been excluded from the artistic world. By nurturing these communities through mentorship, scholarship, and professional development, this endeavor not only celebrates their untold stories but also fosters inclusion and catalyzes social change.

ARTiculate Narratives will be open from June 1 to July 2, 2026. We will host an opening reception on June 1, from 5 to 7 pm, and we hope to see you there!

This exhibition is supported by the Maryland State Arts Council (msac.org), Arts for All, Do Good, and Pepsi grants.

The Stamp Gallery is FREE and open to the public. Our Summer hours are 12 PM - 5 PM Monday through Friday.

Untitled (Discord) - 2026
Plastic strapping, plywood, cinderblocks, plexiglass, aluminum, hardware, motors, and microelectronics.

Artist Joshua Prince’s family of sculptures combine industrial parts, motifs, and aesthetics—searching for a simple, elegant gesture. Each sculpture’s main material, and focus, is half inch black plastic strapping normally unseen and unappreciated but highly utilized in our contemporary lives. Combined with other materials and forms found in our contemporary lives: plexiglass, rapid-prototyping plastics, and industrial microelectronic components: this work creates an absurdly complex mechanism for a simple gesture and nonsensical purpose.

Come and see Prince’s sculptures and artist Wednesday Kim’s work at the Stamp gallery in their MFA second year show: BETWEEN SIGNAL AND NOISE until May 16!

The Stamp Gallery is FREE and open to the public. Our hours are 10AM - 8PM Monday through Thursday, 10AM - 5PM on Fridays, and 11AM - 5PM on Saturdays.

BETWEEN SIGNAL AND NOISE
Artist Spotlight: Joshua Prince

Joshua Prince is a multidisciplinary artist based in Washington, D.C. His practice, although encompassing a variety of media, centers on sculptures inspired by scientific phenomena and surrealist abstract drawings depicting forms that are at once natural and challenging of conventional understanding. Prince incorporates a diverse range of materials in his work, including custom 3D-printed parts, plexiglass, steel, concrete, and wood. His visual style blends gestural and minimal abstraction, emphasizing the natural colors and patinas of his materials with minimal added color. He seeks to find forms and movements that elicit phenomenological responses in a broad audience: Helping us connect spiritually with each other and the universe.

Prince’s work can be found online at https://www.joshuaprince.me/ or on instagram .prince.art

BETWEEN SIGNAL AND NOISE Artist Spotlight: Wednesday Kim

Kim is a Korean-born interdisciplinary artist and mother working across video, print, sculpture, installation, and participatory ritual. Drawing from Korean folklore and internet subculture, she reimagines the Dokkaebi as a figure emerging from discarded objects, data remnants, and technological residue.
Her practice explores how labor, care, and memory persist across digital and material environments, tracing the afterlives of what is erased yet remains.
Originally from Seoul, South Korea, she is currently based in Maryland, USA, and is a co-founder of De:Formal Online. Her work can be found at wednesdaykim.xyz and on Instagram

The Stamp Gallery is pleased to present Between Signal and Noise, an exhibition featuring artists Wednesday Kim and Joshua Prince. In their respective multidisciplinary practices, Kim and Prince apply technological methods and materials to build and rebuild connections—whether between the viewer and the artist, the conscious and the unconscious, the individual and the collective, or the human and the non-human. Rooted in processes of assemblage, these works acquire a monumental presence that transcends materiality itself: they invite the viewer to engage in a multisensorial encounter, reconstructing themselves from space into memory through the body.
