University of Maryland Block and Bridle Club UMD Block and Bridle welcomes all UMD students with an interest in production animal agriculture!

Club Objectives are:
To promote a higher scholastic standard and a more complete understanding of Animal Science among student members. To promote animal agriculture through development of a program of activities that will supplement students' study of the animal sciences in colleges and universities. To enhance professionalism of students who will one day be leaders in the animal agriculture ind

ustry. To bring about a closer relationship among all students pursuing some phase of animal agriculture as a profession.

Hi everyone! My name is Caroline, and I’m excited to serve as the 2026–2027 Vice President for Block & Bridle!
I’m a junior Animal Science major at the University of Maryland. I grew up on my family’s farm in Maryland, where we raise sheep, goats, turkeys, and chickens. I’ve been involved in agriculture and livestock through 4-H and FFA for many years, and I’m excited to bring that experience to Block & Bridle.
I’m looking forward to helping make this a great year for our members and creating opportunities for everyone to learn and connect. I can’t wait to see what we accomplish together!
