Join for our J.D. Lindsey Lecture Series presented by Pablo G. Debenedetti.
Today from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. in JEB, Room 106, Dr. Debenedetti will be discussing his work titled: THE GLASSY STATES OF WATER: FUNDAMENTALS AND APPLICATIONS.
Dr. Debenedetti’s work explores the unique properties of glassy water, a form of water found throughout the Universe, including in comets, icy moons and interstellar space. On Earth, it is used to help preserve cells and biological materials. His talk will explore how glassy water forms and how advanced computer-based tools are helping researchers better understand its unusual behavior.
We hope to see you there!
