Congratulations to Grace Adinku for receiving a 2026 Adair Advisor of the Year award!

The Adair Awards, given by the Texas A&M Student Activities Department in the spring, honor exemplary student organizations and advisors.

Adinku, Ph.D., senior lecturer in the Texas A&M Theatre Program and the Texas A&M Performance and Visual Studies programs, has served as an advisor to the African Graduate Students Association since it began in 2023. The organization aims to assist African graduate students in adapting to the college experience by providing resources, networking opportunities and support.

“It’s affirming to be recognized for work that I care so deeply about,” she said. "This recognition is truly a shared achievement as it reflects the dedication, resilience and vision of the students I have the privilege to work with.”
