The Texas A&M Energy Research Society (ERS) is a society established by the Texas A&M Energy Institute for the graduate students and postdoctoral fellows conducting energy-related research under an Energy Institute faculty affiliate. The ERS aims to create a dynamic and synergistic environment within Texas A&M University through technical and social events. As the members of the society prepare to

launch their careers in academia, industry, or government, the ERS aims to organize events to showcase energy-related research at Texas A&M, promote collaborations, and enhance interactions with industrial communities.

Announcing our Keynote Speaker for the 2022 Texas A&M Conference on Energy - Dr. Bruce McCarl.

Dr. McCarl is a University Distinguished Professor of Agricultural Economics. His research efforts mainly focus on global climate change mitigation, resource economics and policy analysis regarding the same. In recognition of his work, Dr. McCarl was appointed to the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change in 2004 which was co-recipient of the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize. He has authored 11 books and more than 300 journal articles.

Here's a little throwback to the Ice Cream Social we had a few weeks ago. It was a great opportunity to unwind after a long day's work and interact with like-minded people. Not to mention, the ice cream was pretty great too!
