Howdy Falcons! The last few days of FOW, the fish have been learning more about blowing calls, hallway procedures, and perfecting their drill movements. On Thursday, the fish participated in fish yell, their first yell practice of the year, and earned their PT shirts. Finally, in fish review on Saturday, the fish took an oath that signified the beginning of their Corps journey. Even though FOW may be complete, the fish’s training has only just begun. Howdy Falcons! For the last two days our fish have been hard at work. On Monday, the fish had their first PT training time which is designed to shape them into strong willed cadets. Later that day they also learned the basics of drill movements. Lastly, on Tuesday they had an inspection training time where they had the opportunity to learn how to make their racks.

Howdy Falcons! Congratulations to our five Juniors that have graduated from Air Force Field Training this summer. Field Training is a defining milestone for contracted cadets that tests one’s character, physical fitness, and the ability to perform tasks under pressure. Completing this challenge is an incredible accomplishment and we look forward to what our Falcons will do in the future military careers.

Howdy Falcons! Over the summer, our Falcons were able to make wonderful memories with their buddies, family, and friends. Many took trips abroad while others took on the challenge of Air Force field training. Now with summer coming to a close, our Falcons are excited to step back on the Quad and start off the semester strong.

Howdy Falcons! Our last leadership profile of the year is our Guidon, Mr. Greyson Wolf ‘29. Greyson is from Cypress, TX, studying Political Science. Post-graduation, he hopes to fly as a United States Air Force pilot. Throughout the summer, Greyson has been training as a private pilot, completing summer classes, and he has been training to improve his physical health. This year, Greyson hopes to have an environment that is eager to improve and put in the hard work. He believes that the most important thing is to focus on creating the leaders of tomorrow, who should be motivated, empathetic, and resilient.
Advice for the fish Class of ‘30: “There will be many challenging days in the future. You need to rely on your buddies and mentors to make it to the other side and see the leader you can become.”

Howdy Falcons! Our third leadership profile of the year is our First Sergeant, Mr. Austin Main ‘28.
Austin is from Sinclairville, New York, and is majoring in Environmental Engineering along with a United States Air Force contract. Post graduation, Austin plans to commission as a 2nd Lt. Civil Engineer in the US Air Force. Throughout the summer, he has completed Air Force Field training at Maxwell AF base, served at Bethany Camp in New York, completed summer classes, and enjoyed nature with both his family and his dog. This year, Austin hopes to create an outfit that understands what it truly means to be humble, while letting our excellence speak for itself.
Advice for the fish class of ‘30: “This next year will be a challenge, but understand that it is also hard for your buddies around you. In those times, see how you can serve each other, and I promise you the once impossible tasks will become nothing more than speed bumps along the road.”
