Aggie Parents and Family Welcome to the Aggie Parents and Family Facebook! As part of the Aggie family, we want to be your partner in supporting your student(s) at Texas A&M.

New Student and Family Programs in Student Life provide resources for parents and families to partner in supporting student development and encouraging student responsibility. Your roles as parents and mentors are as important as ever. Studies show that parental involvement increases the chances that a college student will be successful on campus and improves graduation rates. Our department values the opportunity to observe and be a part of students' personal growth and development. October is Relationship Violence Prevention & Awareness Month (RVPAM) 💜

As parents and family members, you play an important role in helping your student build healthy relationships and recognize the signs of unhealthy ones. This month, we're raising awareness about relationship violence, honoring survivors through the Day of Unity (October 5), and showing support on Purple Thursday (October 15) by wearing purple as a symbol of peace, courage, and commitment to prevention.
