Teaching the art and techniques of floral design

Benz School of Floral Design classes consist of two-week Basic Design courses, as well as two-day and one-week advanced classes. The curriculum emphasizes the use of elements and principles of design, as well as the latest in techniques and materials. The Basic Design course includes lectures and hands-on labs in which students learn about every aspect of the floral industry: corsages, weddings, f

unerals, management, buying, consultations and more. Advanced courses focus on specific topics and expand student knowledge of elements, principles and design techniques. Students’ designs receive individual critiques from the instructor, and team projects give students networking opportunities.
