Hard days build character, and here in S-1, we commit ourselves to making that growth happen daily. We believe that true strength, resilience, and discipline are forged through challenge, not comfort. Every demanding task, early morning, and high standard we set is designed to push our limits, sharpen our resolve, and shape us into leaders capable of handling whatever comes next.

Howdy Spartans,

Welcome back to Senior Sunday. Today we are featuring our First Platoon PL, Mr. Briggs Mobley ‘27.

Mr. Mobley is from Lewisville, North Carolina and is currently majoring in nuclear engineering.

He has faithfully led our outfit as a Fireteam leader, squad leader, as well as Inspector General corporal, sergeant, and officer too. He is currently serving as our first platoon leader.

When he is not on Quad, he enjoys gardening, working out, traveling, shooting, spending time with his pets and family, and spending time outdoors.

In the future, he plans on working at a nuclear power plant and then a national research lab.

When asked if he and any final remarks about his time in S-1 he replied, “I’ve learned so many valuable lessons here in S-1 over the years that I’ll absolutely take with me into my future. S-1 has also given me a close family in my time at Texas A&M that can’t be outclassed by anything other than the family I was born into, and there’s something real special about that. I’m truly blessed to have been with this outfit for my time here, and I’m optimistic about the future our amazing outfit has ahead of itself. Wherever life may take me, I’ll never forget this family and my time here.”

Thank you for everything you have given to our outfit, and we are so excited to see what you do in the future.
