Our programs include academic coaching that helps you create and follow a customized success plan; workshops or classes on basic skills, time management, career planning, or study strategies; tutoring; and Supplemental Instruction. Supplemental Instruction (SI) is a peer-led collaborative study session offered in a variety of courses.

Students who attend 10 or more sessions throughout the semester have statistically been shown to earn half to a full letter grade higher than those students who do not attend! 🎓

Whoop! It's National Tutor Appreciation Week! 🎉

The Academic Success Center is able to provide drop-in tutoring in the Whitley Suite of Evans Library, as well as appointment tutoring in a variety of locations. This is only possible thanks to our fantastic tutors who help ensure that every Aggie succeeds during their time in Aggieland.

The Academic Success Center is hosting the Striving for Success Active Study & Post-Test Analysis Pop-In Workshop on Oct. 12! 🗓

We'll give students the opportunity to learn how to reflect on previous exam performance to determine what adjustments can be made to improve their performance in the future. The analysis helps students become more aware of their learning process and develop more effective study strategies.

Did you know that the Academic Success Center offers Success Coaching for students? 🤝

Our student Peer Success Coaches are fellow Aggies equipped with the experience and training to help you navigate everyday college challenges. Whether you need guidance finding campus resources or support adjusting to university life, peer coaches are a fantastic place to start.

For tailored academic support, our full-time Professional Coaches work with Aggies individually or in small groups to help elevate academic performance. A Professional Coach identifies your unique strengths and areas for growth and will customize an action plan for you. You can book appointments with Professional Coaches and Peer Success Coaches at asc.tamu.edu 💪
