When asked about his time in Aggie Engineering, Hezekiah Reddell '27 summed it up in one word: unforgettable. 👏

A Mechanical Engineering student, Hezekiah is involved in TAMU Formula Electric and FREE, where he has expanded his engineering experience beyond the classroom and built connections with fellow students.

While the challenges of engineering coursework have pushed him to work harder than ever, he says the encouragement and support of his fellow Aggies have made all the difference and reinforced the values behind the Aggie Spirit and the 12th Man.

A Texas A&M team is taking on the future of flight. ✈️

Led by aerospace engineering professor Dr. Moble Benedict, a team of Texas A&M University students designed a 50-pound drone that carried 110 pounds across four nautical miles in just 12 minutes at the first-ever DARPA Lift Challenge.

The team was one of only six U.S. teams to complete the course and is continuing to explore the drone’s potential for disaster relief, delivery and surveillance.

A career in space wasn’t always the plan for John Hayes.

His path through Texas A&M has taken a few turns — from biology and pre-med to industrial engineering and, ultimately, aerospace research.

Now a NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration fellow, Hayes applies his background across disciplines to study challenges astronauts face during spaceflight.

His journey is a reminder that there’s more than one way to find your way into the field you’re meant to be in. 🚀

Seven years ago, Nathan Bliss shared how his brother's rare genetic condition inspired him to study biomedical engineering and pursue a future as a physician-scientist.

Today, he's living that dream.

After graduating from medical school, Nathan is beginning the next phase of his journey, building on the passion for patient care and research that first inspired him as an Aggie engineer.

A small current can make a big difference ⚡️

A team from Texas A&M University Students for the Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS) recently earned second place in NASA’s ORBIT Challenge Earth track for their concept, PATCH.
PATCH is a wearable technology designed to stimulate healing in chronic ulcers using a tiny electrical current generated by movement.

The team brought home more than $35,000 to help turn their idea into a prototype the upcoming school year. Congratulations to Team PATCH on this accomplishment! 👏
