Congratulations, Dr. Davoodi!

A great educator's impact goes beyond one classroom.

Dr. Amin Davoodi ‘21, a former Ph.D. student in our Texas A&M Department of Teaching, Learning and Culture, is now an assistant professor at the University of Wyoming College of Education. Through a U.S. Department of Education-supported initiative, he is helping expand opportunities for multilingual learners by preparing educators through ESL credentialing, professional learning and instructional coaching. The effort will strengthen schools across Wyoming while helping educators better support their students.

We are proud to see our Aggies create meaningful change in education across the country.

David Jahn '24, '25 didn't always know he wanted to be a teacher. It took a few major changes, a trip overseas and one moment in front of a classroom to set him on his path. Today he's JahnifestDestiny, a content creator with nearly a million followers and a full-time teacher who isn't going anywhere.

"I am not a teacher because I wasn't qualified to do anything else. I am a teacher because I couldn't stomach doing something unfulfilling."
