AG MEDIA SUMMIT ⭐️🌱💙📸👩🏼‍💻

A few of our Texas A&M ACT members attended the Agricultural Media Summit in St. Louis, MO! We had a great time learning new leadership and communication skills that we can’t wait to bring home to our members.

Ellie Hert and Ally Means ran for the National ACT Officer Team, and we are so excited to announce that Ellie has been elected to serve as Member Relations Coordinator for the 2026-2027 year!

Bailey Smith, Ellie Hert and Tylie McDonald also competed in the National Critique & Contest, bringing home seven total awards.

We had the best week and are excited for all that this year will bring! 👍

Recap of PDC 2026 — Aggieland’s version 👍

TAMU ACT was proud to host this year’s Professional Development Conference in our own backyard!

We are incredibly grateful to the Department of Agricultural Leadership, Education and Communications for their involvement and continued support, and to our advisors whose guidance and dedication made this weekend possible.

A sincere thank you to the universities who traveled to Texas A&M to join us, and to our speakers who shared both their time and wisdom with our members. And of course, shoutout to former AGCJ student class of ‘19 .jeffrey for putting a stellar performance to conclude the festivities of the weekend!

We hope you had as great of a time as we did! Thanks and Gig ‘em 😉👍
