Exercise Physiology with Emphasis in Human Cardiovascular Physiology

Position: The Department of Kinesiology & Sport Management (KNSM) (https://knsm.tamu.edu) within the College of Education and Human Development at Texas A&M University is accepting applications for a full-time, 9-month faculty position at the Associate or Full Professor level in Exercise Physiology with an emphasis in Human Cardiovascular Physiology. Eligible candidates will have tenure review upon hire. We are seeking candidates with leadership abilities who are capable of garnering external funding and who could mentor faculty and doctoral students. Strong candidates will be emerging or established scholars with an impactful research program that will advance the current department's research strengths, related to exercise physiology, cardiovascular physiology, exercise and nutrition intervention clinical trials, and environmental cardiovascular physiology. The candidate will become an integral part of the Kinesiology - Exercise Physiology faculty with expectations to engage in independent and collaborative interdisciplinary research, aggressively seek funding opportunities, provide research mentorship for students, as well as teach undergraduate and graduate courses. Very competitive startup packages are available to establish a productive research environment.

Great ISAK 2026 Conference at CES University in Medellin, Colombia! Thanks to DBSS, the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, and ISAK for inviting me to speak about nutrition to improve body composition. It was great seeing so many friends and colleagues and meeting new ones. Now a couple of days of cultural events and then back to Aggieland.
