We love when our alumni share along opportunities for our current students! The SAHE community is strong! Thanks, Daniella, for sharing this practicum opportunity at the Community College of Denver! We have many students that come from the Denver Metro area, so it’s great for them to have opportunities north of Colorado Springs to complete their practicum opportunities closer to home. With our hybrid (just one in-person Saturday class a month) and hyflex (if over 100 miles away) attendance options, students can complete the program from anywhere!

Congratulations to Kristen LaRoy on her promotion to Director of CARE Team & Student Support and Assistant Dean of Students in the Office of the Dean of Students at UCCS. Kristen is a true SAHE success story starting in the Dean of Students office as an undergraduate intern working with conduct classes and a social norming campaign to a professional role as the Senior Student Support Specialist and now as the new Assistant Dean!
