Colorado College Outdoor Education

Colorado College Outdoor Education Leadership. Stewardship. Discovery. Join us as we work to redefine the outdoors with each adventure.

The Outdoor Education Department at Colorado College organizes the Priddy Experience Orientation for new students and advises a variety of student organizations including the Ritt Kellogg Climbing Gym, Climber's Association of Colorado College, Ahlberg Gear House, Free Rider's Union of CC, Outdoor Recreation Committee, Breakout, Cycling Team, Kayak Club, and Colorado College Farm. The department thrives because of the hard work of four professional staff, 50 student employees, and hundreds of dedicated student volunteers.

Gear Sale 2026‼️
Looking for affordable outdoor gear? This year's Outdoor Education (OE) Gear Sale offered quality used equipment that was still in excellent condition but was no longer needed in the Gear House.
We hope this year's sale helped many students find the gear they needed. If you weren't able to make it, don't worry! The Gear Sale returns every fall and spring, giving you another opportunity to score great equipment at student-friendly prices.
