This year, we brought a little extra sparkle to Mid-MO Pride Fest! 💜 Our booth was filled with smiles, photo booth fun, positive affirmations, and plenty of glow to go as we celebrated this year’s “Time to Shine” theme.

We’re excited to share highlights from our Exploring Equine-Assisted Learning Workshop 🐴✨

In collaboration with the Stephens College Equine Program, our Graduate Counseling students explored communication, self-awareness, and personal growth through hands-on work with horses. Students engaged in non-verbal communication, leadership and partnership exercises, and herd observation to reflect on group dynamics and their own roles within them.

This collaboration connects classroom learning with experiential practice, highlighting interdisciplinary work and the diverse approaches and techniques counseling students can explore in their future careers.

A special thank you to the Stephens College Equine Program faculty for hosting this meaningful workshop!
