One pill can kill, but knowledge can save a life.

Knowing how to recognize and respond to an overdose could save a life. If you think someone may be experiencing an overdose:

Give NARCAN if it is available and you feel comfortable doing so.

Call 911 immediately.

Stay with the person until help arrives.

NARCAN is available on the University of South Carolina campus at the Center for Health and Well-Being.

Take a few minutes to learn the signs, know where to find NARCAN, and know what to do in an emergency. Knowing how to respond could save a life.

Today, the University of South Carolina community came together for Salute Through Service, honoring the lives lost and the heroes of September 11 through service, remembrance, and unity.

Students and community members spent the day giving back and carrying forward the spirit of 9/11 Day, turning remembrance into action and showing the impact we can make when we serve together.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered, supported the event, and helped
make this day so meaningful. We are proud to join communities across the country in honoring September 11 through service.

GR advocates for USC students at the local, state, and federal levels, giving members the opportunity to research issues that matter to students, meet with elected officials, and advocate for real solutions.

From Columbia City Hall and the South Carolina State House to Washington, D.C., GR gives students hands-on experience in government, policy, research, and advocacy.

All majors, class years, backgrounds, interests, and viewpoints are encouraged to apply.

In honor of 9/11 Day, Student Government is hosting a Donation Drive collecting clothing, toiletries, bedding, cleaning supplies, bottled water, shelf-stable food, and other essential items for those in need.

Who’s ready for Saturday in South Carolina?

In partnership with USCPD, Student Affairs, and Parking and Transportation Services, we’re providing Uber discounts for every home game! Check your student email for discount codes sent out at 8:30 AM and again at the 4th quarter! Using Uber on gameday? Be sure to book your ride to the Founders Parking Lot, our designated Uber drop-off and pick-up location. Shuttles will run back and forth between the Founders Parking Lot and the Fairgrounds to help get you where you need to go safely.
